Gender Data Utilization

Description:
This workshop introduces participants to the concept of gender and its importance in the PHN (Population, Health, and Nutrition) field. Participants then use their knowledge to identify gender-relevant data in core DHS questionnaires (and other modules, if available) and to draw programmatic implications from the data.

Purpose:

  • Maximize the use of DHS surveys and report structures
  • Ensure thorough utilization of gender-related indicators
  • Ensure the integration of gender issues within the existing PHN portfolio

Duration: Three to four days
