Testimonials:
From Claudia Evans, Project Development Specialist, Family Planning and Reproductive Health, USAID/Nicaragua:
“Thank you for the excellent and high-quality assistance in conducting the [IGWG Gender Integration] workshops…Without doubt, it is a challenge to incorporate a gender perspective in the work we are developing with ou r partners in the Ministry of Social Sector, NGOs, and the health, democracy and agriculture projects ; but with the help of the IGWG, and with the local follow-up process that we hope to initiate, it can be achieved…We are very happy to have taken the first step.”
From a workshop participant:
“The technical capacity of the facilitators was excellent. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with the Nicaraguan people.”
Previous Setting: Mali
Testimonials:
From Christine Sow:
For all of us I can it really was a success! The participants were engaged and interested, and work sessions often went on longer than planned just because people didnt want to stop working. The really critical element of this workshop was that we were able to bring our discussion about gender down to a very applied level and this was appreciated by all the participants (and noted as something new and not usually accomplished in other gender trainings)
. [T]he type of assistance we received from the IGWG was well worth it and definitely helped us move our gender agenda along with our partners.
