16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

Posted on November 27, 2017

A reminder that 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence began this past Saturday, November 25. This year’s theme is “Together We Can End GBV in Education!” You can get more information about the campaign and suggestions about how to commemorate the 16 Days at the official site (here).

This year Population Reference Bureau, as moderator of the IGWG listserv under the PACE project, will be highlighting 16 organizations on social media (one each day) in recognition of their work on gender-based violence around the world. We invite you to partner with us on this campaign by submitting the names of organizations with whom you’ve worked and whom you feel should be honored. Submitting the names will take just a few minutes of your time and will help to raise awareness of the work these organizations are doing.

Simply click here, provide what information you’re able to, and we’ll take care of the rest!
