This packet consists of three training modules on why and how to carry out gender mainstreaming in health. Designed for public health professionals in international, national or community-based institutions, it is based on the WHO resource, Gender mainstreaming for health managers: A practical approach. The packet includes the following modules: Understanding Gender Concepts; Understanding and Applying Gender Analysis; and Integrating Gender in our Programs, Projects and Policies. Participants practice conducting gender analyses to determine where and why gender inequalities occur and learn how to develop appropriate interventions.
