In 2021-2022, UNFPA in the Philippines introduced the Cash for Maternal Health Emergency Fund—designed to facilitate safe pregnancy and delivery—in the conflict-affected Maguindanao province. This report shares program evaluation findings and is intended to provide new evidence to inform planning of maternal health programs with cash components, both in the Philippines and beyond.
